Land Rover 130 Defender

Posted on

The 130 Defender is the famous workhorse of the Land Rover range. It can carry more weight than the 110 Land Rover Defender and is 17’’ longer, giving it the edge on load capacity.

Foley Specialist Vehicles have been converting the Defender 130 since 1983 when they first hit the streets. Back then the 130 (then known as the 127) was short in supply, so we took 110 Land Rovers and extended them to 127″. In some cases we had 5 vehicles at a time lined up for conversion, so no job is too small.

We developed a few years later the Defender 130 Station Wagon. This was built to order as the Defender 110 was too small for carrying people and supplies. This was also a great conversion for ‘Bush’ and ‘Site’ ambulances. We continue to build the 130 Station Wagon to date and have built over 100 units – in all kind of colours and specs. We continue to build this Legend of a Defender to order or bring us your current 130 Defender and we will convert it to a 130 Defender. We will only require your vehicle for 4 weeks (depending on the conversion)
